Urban Nordica
Round 2 of the Bookhabit Unpublished competition.
RANKING AND HOW IT WORKS
· Users MUST LOG IN to rank books. If they don’t already have a login they will need to create one. You will hopefully appreciate that Bookhabit hasn’t spammed you yet and doesn’t intend to, so you can assure your friends of this too.
· ... Users can read two chapters for free.
· Users then rate as many of the books as they want to. There will be 60 books in Round 2. No one is required to read all 60 books in order to rank them. Do remember the idea is for as many people as possible outside your normal circle to see your work.
· To Rank a book –
o This will become very clear when you see the screen on Monday. It is easier than it sounds when it is written down!
o Click on a single book in the list of books on the left hand side of the screen.
o You can then click on the horizontal arrow pointing right to move it across to your personal ranking list.
o Then move the book up or down to the appropriate position in your list by using the up and down arrows.
o Favourite book at the top, least favourite book at the bottom.
o To remove a book from your personal ranking list you click on it in the right hand side of the screen and click the horizontal arrow pointing left.
SCOREBOARD
· Will be displayed with an almost current ranking list at all times during the fortnight of ranking. There is a slight delay in rankings going up. Your ranking will not change immediately when somebody ranks your book.
