View the glass sculpture of Jason Minami, winner of the 2007 MFA competition, in his first solo exhibition – Bonded Paths. His art revolves around balance and transformation, retaining a sense of energy through light, line and form. Using minimal color and mixed media ...elements, Jason creates dynamic pieces.
Invoking the illusion of floating, as well as installations composed of multiple elements, in which the shadows and light cast by the glass are integral parts of the viewing experience. The Honolulu, Hawaii, native has 10 years of glass experience and currently serves as the technician and instructor of Newark, NJ-based glass program, GlassRoots.
