Hi FHL Fans, The October podcast is now available from the normal places. I wish to thank all those that have commented so positively on last month’s podcast.
Also a special mention to Peter for his kind donation. The first donation ever in 3 years! That came a good time as I just renewed my broadcaster account for the... next year. From this you can be happy to know the show shall continue into 2010 :)
This month is one of those more emotional progressive house mixes. This mix really touches my heart. I have worked hard this month to bring you some real exclusives.
First exclusive is forthcoming on Hollister Records and beatport in November. This is the amazing remix by Bellatrax of Break the sky by Joonas Hahmo. Its so up front even the record label has no mention of it at the time of going to press. Joonas Hahmo is a Finnish producer who has collaborated with Ferry Corsten under such names as Alt+F4 and Avanto. This exclusive track remixed by Bellatrax is simply beautiful. Thanks to Steph @ Oxyd.
The new track from Tiesto will be 'Escape me' and the podcast features the exclusive mix by Aviciis. Avicii is the Swedish producer Tim Berg. His remix of the classic Touch me also features on this podcast and is a love it or hate it. I am not 100% sure about the vocalist but I love the energy in this new interpretation.
Lastly the very pretty Jessie Malakouti has a new tune 'Standing Up for the Lonely' and this remix by Indigo is right up my street. The track was rumoured to be on the MoS Annual 2010 album but failed to appear. It will be released in January 2010. Jessie is from LA and been touring for a large part of 2009.
ATB is André Tanneberger is from Germany. His first hit topped the UK Album chart in 1999 and had the widely regarded first trance number 1 with 9pm (Till I Come). His latest track 'Behind' is remixed by the awesome producer EDX. Its taken from the album Future Memories released earlier this year.
Finally a word about EDX. Maurizio Colella, Italian native Artist, Producer, DJ, and multi-talented EDX, has been and still is a well known name in the dance since in and outside of his home base Switzerland. He has had remix success with Deadmau5, Armand van Helden and Steve Angello to name but a few in 2009.Read More
