Oh, I have a ton of VHS tapes... useless, but I still have them.

My wonderful daughter bought me the whole series for Christmas. I love to watch the old V. The new one may be good but I will wthhold judgement a few more weeks.

was a marathon on the weekend before the new series i dvdrd and watched brought back memories

the new V awesome! i cant judge how good the original one was, cuz i never watched it. i was just a kid in the 80's. there were more important things to watch as a kid, namely The Transformers, GI Joe, Voltron, etc.

Patrick, you should watch the original. No question. Don't expect fantastic CGI but admire the great acting and if you think Anna is scary, wait till you experience superbitch Diana. No Contest

@V, cool. i'm i find Anna more sexy hot,then scary,lol. but i will check out the original, has the original been released on dvd yet?

and i know that Marc Singer guy is in the original according imdb.com. is he good in V? i ask only cuz well sorry Marc Singer. that Beast Master movie i could not stand. sorry.

@V, and ur right about cgi, i love cgi as much as the next guy, but there are some sci fi movies that would still be awesome using miniatures. prime example,i'll probably start a debate here, but i think Star Trek should've still used physical miniature starships especially the for the Enterprise atleast up till J.J.'s Abrams Star Trek.

i dont think the enterprise would've looked as good as it did if it had been built as a physical model by ILM.

Patrick, don't talk any more and just watch the Original V!! please, you won't regret it. it's Something Else !! and by the way does anybody knows when it's on TV in Argentina??!

I'm running one episode behind (but thanks to Hulu, only 1 episode), but it looks like it has a lot of promise! The scariest idea in this show: how do you function when you can't trust *anybody* around you?
