- Mission:
- VALA - Libraries, Technology and the Future Inc., is a not-for-profit Australian organisation that aims to promote the use and understanding of information technology as it applies to practitioners in the library and information industries. VALA fulfils these aims via the highly respected and well attended VALA biennial conference, regular general meetings, annual student awards, the biennial VALA Robert D. Williamson Award, and travel scholarships.
