Founded:: VIETRI was founded in 1983 by a mother and two daughters on a magical trip to Italy. They fell in love with the colorful dinnerware they were dining on at the San Pietro Hotel located on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and a company was born!

Anita Brisbin I was lucky enough to pick up two large platters made by vietri at a garage sale. I love the pattern. I would appreciate if any one can tell me it's name by my description. white with heavy embossed olive leaves around the plate two inches from edge. Also white dots in straight lines along the rim.

It sounds like Incanto - we have an Incanto Olive pattern and one with Stripes, so I'm thinking that's what it is. Check out www.vietri.com to confirm. How exciting to find VIETRI at a garage sale!

Kristina Popova Hello Vietri! I have some of the Incanto Mare pieces. I have been using them in the oven but some of the smaller pieces have a little crach in the middle which I am afraid may break if I use it more in the oven. What do you think is the reason for the crack, is it the heat? Is this a common problem and if yes maybe it is better not to advertise them as oven proof...
Otherwise this is the best tableware I have seen and I am going to sell it my new boutique.

That is true! I think you should KEEP the snowflakes and add different ones every year, "it's WONDERFUL! and as I said it's a great winter fun pattern to leave mixed in!
