Julie Chavez Rodriguez is the granddaughter of Cesar Chavez and has worked with the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation for the past eight years spearheading their educational and service programs, namely the Educati...ng the Heart School Program and the Chavez After School Service Clubs. Like her grandfather, Julie believes that "the end of all education should surely be service to others.
The lecture will take place on Saturday July 11 at 4:00pm at the Santa Monica Culture of Peace Resource Center. 606 Wilshire Blvd. Santa Monica, CA 90401. Free parking is available one block away at 1212 7th St. The lecture is free and open to the public.
