I am so impressed with Newsweek for publishing this story. As a pediatrician, I unfortunately see the effects of Jenny McCarthy's bogus campaign. I have taken care of children who have died of vaccine preventable illnesses. I applaud all of you who see through her stunts. It is refreshing to see that people are searching out the truth instead of taking celebrities' opinions as facts.

As an OB/gyn, I find Oprah's endorsement of bioidenticals for menopausal women is equally alarming--compounding pharmacies are not regulated in any fashion. I hope the deaths of all those polo horses exemplifies the danger in taking unregulated medicines.

We started vaccinating our son at 17 months when we felt his body could handle it. His first fever was at a low 100.7 about 2 months ago, at 19 months. Be knowledgeable and smart about vaccines.

No med school just real life experience! I'm not talking about autism. Just really bad reactions. Elizabeth seems angry.
