Welcome To Vagabond Roots Page

This feels a bit strange to have a "fan page" but quite a few other travel bloggers swear by it, so who am I to ignore their sage advice. However I'd rather call this a friends page than a fan page, so from here on that's what I'm referring to it as.

So who is Vagabond Roots?

My Name's Catia and I'm a girl from Toronto, Canada that woke up one morning and realized something was missing from my life, so I set off to find it. I'm currently on a round the world backpacking trip to discover what the world has to offer, meet new people, see new things and find different ways of experiencing the world. If you want a bit of background, you can read more in my about me page.

So what's Vagabond Roots? Well that's the blog where I'm writing out all my travelling adventures (and perhaps a few misadventures) along the way. I just started out in late January 2010, so you'll be able travel virtually with me the entire trip.

Why become a fan friend of Vagabond Roots?

Well, if you're a nice person you could cheer me on from the sidelines, meet up with me along my travels or maybe even give suggestions about where I should go.

If you're a meanie you could giggle evilly as you suggest the strangest of places for me to visit and experience extreme schadenfreude if and/or when travel mishaps happen.
