Valencia have landed Almeria coach Unai Emery in a contract that will keep him tied to the club for the next 2 seasons. Sporting Director Juan Sanchez is working hard to bring the club back to financial stability, stating that 2 to 3 star players (Villa, Silva and/or Joaquin) will have to be sold in order to benefit from their price, but Sanchez also stated that only a good deal would be studied if any player is to sold.
Many players seem set to leave this summer, most notibly Canizares, who agreed with the club to terminate his contract. Marco Caniera also seems ready to return to Portugal after Sporting Lisbon paid the 1.5m euros buy-back fee. Other news are nothing but rumors until now, nothing is official until after the Euro 2008.
