Highlighting the event will be a screening of the award winning documentary "Flow" and speeches by Ken Baerg of Run For Water & Dr. Pacheco-Vega of CIATEC. This one of a kind event is FREE and is maki...ng its first stop in Langley, BC, so don't miss out on your chance to win prizes and learn about what you can do to change the world.

Screening of FLOW: For the Love of Water- Irena Salina's award-winning documentary investigation into what experts label the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century - The World Water Crisis. Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world's dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel.
Speakers:
Ken Baerg is the Founder, Board Director, and Race Director of Run For Water, an annual race that brings exposure to the issues surrounding access to clean water for people in the developing world. He will be sharing his experiences abroad in Africa working on water well projects.
Dr. Raul Pacheco-Vega is a Vancouver-based researcher, educator and consultant in environmental politics and policy. He has conducted research in the field of environmental public policy and politics for over 10 years.Dr. Pacheco-Vega has conducted independent research on wastewater governance, comparative environmental policy in North America, urban sustainability and environmental NGO mobilizations.
