For nearly a decade, V A R I E G A T E D has crafted finely tailored, sophisticated bedding, pillows, and linens for homes and select hotels. Since meeting their first day at design school, Jim and Corbett have shared a love of textiles and design. While they had collaborated before, V A R I E G A T E D provided the o...pportunity to expand creatively. Each designer brings his own unique reference points to V A R I E G A T E D: Jim is fascinated by the interplay of light, texture, and detailed color variations he finds in nature's compositions; Corbett takes the traditional schematics of old quilts plus details from fine-tailored clothing, and twists them into new forms. Together, their textile creations always give a nod to tradition while offering a few surprises.
