Variety the Children's Charity of Wisconsin
If you have any gently-used kids books, Variety is doing a breakfast
with Santa for 200+ kids challenged by disability and disadvantaged
economic backgrounds on December 19th from 10 am to noon. We're
purchasing presents for about $10 per kid, but we'd like to give each
child a book as well... Many of the children are co...ming to us via
Alianza
Latina Aplicando Soluciones, and many are from primarily
Spanish-speaking homes, so on the off chance you have books in Spanish,
that is extra-helpful.
We also are looking for volunteers to help serve food, set up, and
clean up at the event; as well as people to help us shop and wrap
presents in advance; if you are looking for a meaningful volunteer
opportunity this holiday season.

Variety the Children's Charity of Wisconsin Third through fifth grade students may produce a written entry on the contest theme, it can be a poem, essay, or story of fewer than 500 words. All writing must be the original, unique creation of the author submitting the work. The top three entries will be invited to work with the FigureHeads hip hop group to creat...e an original musical piece that will be performed at the free movie and party with their classmates
