I can see Kelly's point. We shouldn't label each other. But on that same token, we don't say a child with Christian parents, we say Christian child. We don't say a child who has cute tendencies, we say cute child. My brother has a multitude of disabilities. I am pretty sure he cares more about understanding and friendship than about being ... See Morelabeled disabled. We shouldn't use the term disabled like a curse word. My baby was born with a cleft lip. It was refered to as a deformity. That's not a pretty word, but that's what it was. I had to learn not to take it personally. It doesn't make her any less wonderful or special. We need to stop focusing on an ever changing language and it's fickle words and focus on each other. And I think that's what Big Idea's goal is, loving each other.

While packing our shoe boxes for Samaritans Purse Hayden (4) exclaimed "Hey Larry the cucumber said to do this" In the new Saint Nicholas Veggie movie there is a promo for this wonderful organization. It was a very cute. Our family packed 5 shoe boxes that went to the collection site last Monday!

Our church did 75. The youth group had a challenge to do 50 and one youth would get to put a pie in the youth group leader's face. 75 boxes and every youth group member would get to. Whipped cream everywhere, and 75 happy kids somewhere....

The first question on the quiz doesn't really make sense or am I missing something? CURE sounds like an awesome organization. I'd love to see them in Haiti. :)

I wanted to get them when I first heard about them some years back. Never been in a position to afford them though. Now the boys are 22, 18/19, 16, 13 & 10. Still do not think we could afford them and they are getting a little past this age, all but the youngest. Even the 18/19 year old love his Veggies and 321 Penguins as much as any of them, still since he first got one at about age 3-5.
