Victoria Rollergirls
The VRG are doing a demo bout at Bear Mountain Arena.
Here's why this matters:
1) At 1600 attendees, it's the largest audience EVER to see Roller Derby in Victoria
2) It's the first time Roller Derby has ever happened at a real, professional venue (seats, lights, sound)
3) This is our debut as Victoria's only professional...ly-organized honest-to-satan LEAGUE with local teams and a regular season.
We can show a very significant audience that this is a real SPORT creating opportunities for women of different backgrounds and different degrees of athleticism. The press and the audience response on this is going to be phenomenal... in short, this is the most important thing to happen to Derby here ever. BE THERE.
*** THIS IS NOT AN OPEN EVENT***
We are there as GUESTS of the Jr. Shamrocks, and will be paid an appearance fee. If non-team members want to come and watch they're going to need to buy a ticket for the lacrosse event. So this is for invitees only... if you have people who want to help as cheerleaders etc., let us know and we'll get them on the list.

Adults $7
Seniors $5
Children under 12 free
