Video Masters TV Been grabbing some DC animated movies. Marvel needs to step up their game and release more animated films to DVD. Spider-Man, perhaps? Naturally, there's a reason I mention Marvel and DC animated films. Anyone know?

    • Jesse Leppert I too have been revisiting some dc animated stuff and catching some stuff I missed. I need to get a hold of some Justice League, I keep forgetting its done by the same crew who did the old Batman the animated series.

    • Nolan Devine Any live events coming up? I'm going to be in New York sporadically through the year starting this Fall. I know you from when you reviewed some Mega64 stuff years ago. I know some of the idiots over there have been bothering you, but forget them. I've been an on and off fan for a couple of years, and hope you have something cool going on in the future that I can come witness.

Yeah, as I understand it, the level editor is the real draw to the game. The fact that you can make so many great levels is really cool. However, I just didn't have the time to devote to a game with that kind of scope (making a great leve...l has to be time-consuming). The game itself just didn't draw me in, a standard platformer for the next gen audience.

Video Masters TV Just bought Brutal Legend for the 360. It's still in its wrapper, though. I'll play another day, when my stomach isn't feelin' shitty. $20 isn't a bad price, though Gamestop had it for $2 less (Used).

Video Masters TV Just tried my VHS experiment. Most of the graphics look a bit fuzzy, but then, it's VHS!! Might try a few more experiments this week. I dunno, I might have been spoiled with high quality videos, but also, have been into old VHS recordings online. I wouldn't mind having a "Retro VHS" version of an episode. Even if we only do it once.

        • Lance Cortez at first i thought this idea was silly, then i thought it may be a cool project for a vid. may ask permission to use your idea in the future haha.

        • Video Masters TV HAHA, sure, feel free to use that idea. I'll admit, I thought it was silly for a while. Then I thought I had 17 episodes all on VHS, and I captured those and posted all of them. I figure it couldn't hurt to do the first episode of the 5th season in a VHS version, as well as a regular quality version that we normally do. Who knows? The idea might stick. Maybe I'll start a trend among game reviewers. lol

Video Masters TV I think there's a special that I can break up into 2 or 3 half-hour episodes. We shall see.

Video Masters TV What would happen if I encode the episode in high quality, output to a VHS tape, and then re-capture it, and encode it to divx? I know that sounds like a lot of work, but lately, I've been into watching old 90's shows on Youtube that have been recorded off of old VHS tapes.

Video Masters TV First episode of the new season, I want to try an experiment. Encode the episode into Divx, so it won't be a WMV file like it has been for 4 years, but a nice quality AVI. It'll still be the same download size (between 200-280mb), but should be clean quality. I'll be prepared to take any questions or concerns.

            • Video Masters TV Dan- Oh, not yet. I'm saying when the episode is finished. August 22nd is the day. Naturally, the show will be available on our site. I might offer a HQ AVI link, and a LQ WMV link. Couldn't hurt to try this once, and see how it goes.

While preparing for new episodes in 2004 which never developed, I recorded a demo performing an old tip for Super Mario World. It's how to get (nearly) unlimited lives.
