Village Earth Village Earth and Project Tupa out of Free Radio Berkeley (http://www.radiotupa.org/) just finished a 4-day radio workshop with participants from 4 Shipibo copmmunities. The participants learned to build by hand FM radio transmitters. These radios will be an important tool in their cultural self-determination, defense of their lands and resources, and the development of their communities.
