Vintage Roadside Ran across this article about the Trolley Museum in Phoenix. Love these types of museums - anyone been there?

Trolley Museum tells Phoenix's transit history, When the Phoenix Trolley Museum reopened for the season last month, museum President Ernie Workman said he wanted people to know one thing: "We're here." {bnl} Phoenix traveled on a bumpy ride with its streetcars

With kind permission from Fuzzy Lizzie, I am reprinting part of her fabulous Vintage Traveler blog, highlighting a vintage motel that I’d only ever seen the sign from. When you see that sign, you hope the place is as cool that, and from Lizzie’s report, it looks like it is!

Karen - The Pink Motel is a great piece of history. One of the signs we've always wanted to see in North Carolina. It seems like there are some great things to see around the Cherokee area.

Richard - We didn't see it lit up but the neck actually bobs up and down! I'd say that with that severe of a laceration this must be one tough dinosaur.

Carol - I'd love to see an old postcard of the place. It was still a great looking place. They even still had the old swing set in the front yard.
