The Virginia Athletics Foundation fully funds the maximum number of scholarships that the NCAA allows for the 25 varsity teams at the University of Virginia–the equivalent of 316.6 full scholarships?
The VAF's 2009 fund-raising goal is $16.8 million? The money raised pays for athletics scholarships, academic advising, summer school, operational expenses (e.g. team travel, recruiting, equipment), and facilities.
The VAF's 2009 membership goal is 10,000 members?
