Bev Wonderful, wonderful weekend. I am missing everyone already. Before I left I walked to the end of the lane and saw an eagle, then saw another one at the boat lauch, and yet another one at the overlook behind the construction site. They seemed to be enjoying the first sunshine to hit the cliffs in a few days.

I've been surprised how many folks come with groups. When we started we weren't sure how that would work. We still have camping cabins left which are a lower cost alternative for an individual.

We will send out a suggested packing list with your registration packet. You will probably want to bring a camera, a yoga mat or beach towel if you will be doing yoga, a flashlight is good to have. If you will be kayaking, synthetic clothing (something other than cotton), light jacket. I usually take my special pillow. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Not yet. We don't have a park with lodging in northern Virginia but may get to some day programs in 2011. Westmoreland SP is an easy drive though - 30 minutes east of Fredericksburg.
