My sister, her son and my daughter (all from Richmond, Va.) and myself, were in Cherokee, for Thanksgiving. We stayed at Harrah's Hotel, but went down the road about two miles on the right, to Granny's Kitchen, for a GREAT Thanksgiving buffet dinner. Wonderful home cooked food. Nothing frozen, all fresh. Will be going back there this year, for the same thing. Can't beat it, any where else.

My husband and I spent a good part of the day on the 29th in Cherokee. We drove over from Transylvania County. We saw some of the classic car owners setting up. Beautifully restored vehicles. Sorry we are missing the actual event.
