Volunteer Visions works with governments, schools, non-profits, and local organizations in the areas of education, health, HIV/AIDS, community and urban development, sustainable agriculture, and wildlife conservation. Currently programs are offered in nine countries: Costa Rica, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, China, India, Vietnam, Kenya and Ghana. The cost for a trip varies depending upon the location and length of stay.

Volunteer Visions has four definitive goals:

Volunteer trips range in nature from working with Sea turtles in Costa Rica to teaching in a school for the blind in Vietnam.
