Operation Vannakam 2010 is a service expedition to India organized by Raleigh Society in partnership with Centre for Tribal and Rural Development (CTRD) Trust (India).
Operation Vannakam 2010 will continue the good work of Operation Vannakam 2009, where a team of more than 50 venturers, together with local masons and ...villagers, built a hospital for tribal villagers in the Nilgiri Mountains, Tamil Nadu, India. This hospital serves to fulfill the need of accessible medical care for the villagers. Operation Vannakam 2010 will be Stage Two of the same hospital construction project.
The project will take five weeks, in two phases. The tentative dates for Phase 1 are 15 May - 04 Jun 2010, and for Phase 2 are 31May-21Jun 2010.
Application is open from now till 8th January 2010, for anyone aged between 17-35. You can find more information in our website at http://www.raleigh.org.sg/vannakam2010 You can also email us at manpower@raleigh.org.sg
