Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, berken have been playing and writing songs since 2002, when brothers Jim, Jeff, Jason, and Jordan began writing music together and jamming in Jason’s basement. The wide spectrum of musical tastes between the brothers, combined with Jim, Jeff, and Jason’s previous musical endevours in ...various local rock, pop, and punk bands, created a diverse, unique, and fun musical atmosphere.

After spending long weekends recording in Jason’s house, berken released their debut album in 2004. They have since been promoting their debut self-titled album, playing shows around Wisconsin and opening for such acts as Alanis Morissette, Dashboard Confessional, and the Bangles.

Berken are currently recording their second album with two more brothers, Justin and Jon, and playing shows when time allows. Though berken’s second album, "Se Lever" has no estimated release date, the band continues to promote their new songs while building up a name for themselves.

There is NO COVER at the door - all you gotta do is get their early enough to claim a good spot!

"Harley-Davidson Inc. said Friday that the Grammy Award-winning rock band Foo Fighters will play the motorcycle manufacturer's 105th anniversary celebration in a ticketed concert on Milwaukee's lakefront Aug. 29 -- at the same outdoor venue where Bruce Springsteen will play a day later.

The Foo Fighters, with opening ac...t Three Days Grace, will play at what the company has dubbed the Roadhouse at the Lakefront, which will be at Veterans Park just north of the Milwaukee Art Museum.

General admission lawn tickets for the concert are $27.50, plus shipping and handling charges. Unlike the Springsteen show, ticket buyers do not need to hold a weekend pass to the Harley-Davidson 105th anniversary event at the Summerfest grounds to buy tickets for the Foo Fighters concert."

RiverSplash takes place downtown along a 10–block area that features popular restaurants, clubs and eateries, in addition to picturesque Pere Marquette Park. The festival is easil...y accessed by Milwaukee’s freeway system

Eight staged areas scattered throughout the festival grounds feature music from over 40 local, regional and national bands. Up and down the Milwaukee River, festival-goers find a musical mix of rock, pop, R&B, country, jazz, calypso, reggae, salsa, swing, and Latin.
