From the team behind Production London comes a brand new night at Brick Lane’s 93 Feet East. Launching Saturday 20th September, We, Like You will showcase a prime selection of the UK’s most exciting live music acts alongside a whole host of first class DJ talent. And what better way to kick off proceedings than with on...e of the most talked about live acts around, The Bays.

These four musical mavericks are renowned for pushing the boundaries of live performance. Refusing to conform to the industry norms, The Bays neither rehearse nor record any of their material, choosing only to perform in front of a live audience. Masters of improvisation, the band fuse together everything from drum ‘n’ bass, techno, breakbeat, jazz and electonica, taking feedback from the dancefloor and channelling it into their music to create a wholly new and unique sound at every performance. If the crowd’s response at their recent show-stopping appearances at The Big Chill and Brighton’s Loop Festival are anything to go by, then this magic formula seems to be paying off. This special one-off appearance at We, Like You marks a short break from the band’s busy summer of festival appearances and a rare chance to see the band in a more intimate setting.

Next up a lady who really needs no introduction, the Queen of Breaks herself, Annie Nightingale. The original first lady of Radio 1, Annie has a string of awards and the highest respect for dedication to underground club music from her peers and clubbers alike. Renowned for discovering some of the UK’s finest talent and her championing of breakbeat, Annie has featured some of the biggest names from the scene, such as Plump DJs, Evil Nine, Adam Freeland, Freq Nasty and Rennie Pilgrem, regularly on her show. With a reputation as an energetic party animal and winner of Muzik Magazine’s Caner Of The Year, we’re expecting a phenomenal performance at We, Like You, one of Annie’s only two scheduled London gigs this Summer.

DJ & Producer Mr.Doris will be taking some time off from his busy Ibiza schedule to bring his trademark soulful sounds to the launch of We, Like You, masterfully mixing up everything from breaks, nu skool and dance floor jazz to broken beat and afro funk with a splash of hip hop thrown in for good measure! Support on the night comes from newcomers The Gary Nock Band and We Like You DJs, Novice of Genius & Spinner Shindigs.
