I am so grateful to Jesus that my sister-in-law was going out the gate in Fort Hood when the lock down started I am extremely grateful that my dear friend Katie hid in a break room and called 911 when the shooting started and that she is SAFE!

Sunday mornings in church when i can sing as loud as i feel, and no one asks me to stop. when i can cry from joy and pain, or the reminder of such, and still no one asks me to stop. it is nice going where everyone knows your name, but still wants you there. I don't know how the rest of the world could get through without Christian friends. It is impossible for me, therefore I know this is why God has sent me so many. I am really blessed in that arena.

my peace comes from Jesus Himself. He said "my peace I leave you" He reminds me contanstly that in this world, we will have trouble and that he has overcome this world and all that trouble. I know that this life with all it's imperfections is nothing more than the blink of an eye. My true peace comes from keeping an eye on where I am going.

we are REALLY good at feeding people. when something happens we are great at pulling together to deliver meals. it was the most unreal thing to experience after the birth of my daughter 13 years ago, and we are still doing it!! Plus i must mention we have some serious prayer warriors!
