Women & Influence 2009 is a FREE half-day conference (includes lunch) that will focus on promoting a healthy sense of self for young women. Programs will be geared toward young women and adults who care about, work with or influence young women.
This year's event is WOMEN'S WAY's first intergenerational conference as w...e reach out to high school-aged females. Learn from city officials, local agencies, and community members about the importance of mentoring and building strong self-confidence at a young age. This conference will feature the work of many WOMEN'S WAY funded agencies as well as lunchtime presentation on media influence and body image. Workshops include discussions on topics such as healthy relationships, sexuality, body image, social media, and leadership.
