This may be off topic, but isn't it admition of guilt for the govenor of NY and all those who supported this plan originally to say that we no longer need new license plates for safety reasons? I mean does this not show that our local officials out right lie to the public to get what they want? I am so tired of being lied to. Why not try something ... Read Morenew like just asking for as many donations as possible, even 1 dollar to help save the state from a terrible debt and to save fellow New Yorkers jobs. They could add it to our next Tax forms or something like that. This is why I no longer want to vote. It's sad that at 42 I have such little faith in the system.
