WROC News 8 Now at Sunrise After yesterdays 1.6" of snow, we are back to warming up with sunshine. Sunshine will be around through the morning today, more clouds this afternoon. It will be mild as highs reach the mid 50s. Rain arrives tonight, it will be steady. Also windy and mild. Temperatures fall during the day Thu but should see a few rain ...showers. Friday will be colder with areas of lake effect snow showers.

WROC News 8 Now at Sunrise Have you been wondering where the snow is? Unless you 46 y/o or older you don't remember going this long into a season w/o snow. This is the latest we've gone into a season in 46 yrs. All time record latest date for the 1st measurable snow is 12/10/48. Also, we haven't seen snow since April 7th. That was 236 days ago.... 3rd longest streak. The longest streak with out snow was set back in 1952 when we went 260 days.

It will also be warmer by almost 10 degree than we were Monday and Tuesday. This wil be our 13 straight day with out measureable precipitation but that will chan...ge as we go into Thursday. TODAY: Sunny skies and warmer HIGH: mid 50s
Rick Why do I keep seeing geese flying in other directions besides south. This morning I observed an entire flock flying north.
