Wal-Mart Watch

No Walmart never did nor does anything for the special needs that my children have. I have helped raise thousands in the years there but wish they did more locally. Problem is that they cut hours of the people that were suppose to be doing that so most is done on off time or unless a manager is forced to do something in Diversity Training. So little time for everyone there.
Mark and Cynthia I agree with both of you. Seen it all happen there. Sure don't miss it, other than my friends.

Phil, Thanks I will always be okay as my children as I am my mother's daughter, meaning we don't give up. Money might be tight but always have our minds and will. Thanks for thinking of us though!!! (See I knew I could get through to you...lol).

Like I said earlier it sounds like to me if you crap in your pants you'd blame walmart. All i'm saying is if walmart is that bad WHY ARE YOU STILL WORKING THERE? Phillip I gave them 12 years of my life. Enough said about that. Oh I see a trucker. Well I guess alittle step up from the stockman (cart pusher) superman I thought you were.LOL. You know I come from a very hard working family too ( raised by a single mother due to my father died when I was 4 saving 3 kids from drowning) so believe me hard work is nothing new for me but I believe you can do a great job and still be educated. All of my kids that are of age work and are in college too.
As a truck driver you do have a hard job but don't see all the bs that is seen at store level 24/7. Not all Walmart associates whine as you think they do.I agree with you on some as they use to come to me but tell them if you whine to me and don't take it open door don't say no one did anything.

Met some amazing people in my years there and can tell you that I could probably go for any position there and get it with flying colors.

Well Pat when your number one there are aslways folks like you that put you down. I look at it this way and tell my daughters, if somebody is always putting you or your company down, no matter what you do they won't be happy. If walmart let you sit home and gave you a check you'd be ill that they used black ink... So please hurry and cry me a river....

What am I wrong about Phil? You know I agree with your philosophy about hard work BUT you never bring any facts or research to the plate. You can't have a debate without numbers, and facts. Try going to court and saying that "cry me a river" to see how fast the judge kicks you out. YOu still didn't answer me as to how a trucker has as much clout as you say you do? Interesting. I would love it if they went back to the stores they originally abandoned to build bigger ones and reuse those structures so they don't become a blight on communities.

Well I don't know about where you live but all the old walmart buildings I see around here have other businesses in them. Maybe thats good for business

I'm not a huge fan of unions in general, but if these folks get even one person to change their views about how crooked Wal-Mart is, I will back them 100 percent!

We had the same thing happen in Jasper Al. The unions hired people to picket at the entrance and then I watched them go inside and spend the unions money at walmart.. I like that

I know this is the South and they could get away with it (most times) unless the ACLU gets wind of it. Basically it is Entrapment. As an ex Walmart LP associate there is no way that we would have done that up North or be a part of it. When it comes to a payout chance they would not take a chance.

Believe me you are talking to the wrong person. I have made alot of difference in my time with Walmart and in fact had people always come to me for advise when they were treated wrongly.
