I got to photograph the wedding of Yan (Yen) and Mike this weekend. An intimate, heartfelt, elegant affair at the Broadmoor Resort, with a side visit to the Garden of the Gods. Yan and Mike were pure joy to work with - easy-going, expressive, and not afraid to play in public - a photographers dream!!
A huge "Thank You" ...shout to Brian Jones and Travis Broxton for helping me with the photography and for keeping the spirit flowing all day and night.
Yan and Mike are headed to a second reception in Omaha this Friday, so I thought I would surprise them with something to share at that reception. I haven't slept, but here is a little "Preview Book" I've prepared for them to take - printer is working on it as I write this :)

Walt Palmer Photography Probably the most laid-back wedding I've been honored to photograph, Ben and Sarah were married at the Peace Neighborhood Center and had the reception at the Dominoes Petting Farm pavilion. No relationship to Dominoes Pizza (World HQ just across the street), Dominoe is apparently one of the big names in early Ann Arbor.

Walt Palmer Photography A visit to a local Shakespeare Company for the opening night of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", directed by Steve Emerson. It was performed open air on a simple set, in a small town (Groveport) near Columbus, Ohio.
