Advocacy & Witness Initiatives of the Unitarian Universalist Association Yesterday, the Senate EPW committee passed the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act w/ full provisions for green jobs, 20 percent cuts in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020, and the Clean Air Act's responsibility for shutting down dirty coal plants. Yay! The other side will try to weaken the bill, so stay tuned.
