Calling all self-employed, business-owner and enterpreneurial moms ...

The Enterprising Moms
The Enterprising Moms (TEM) is going old school!

Old-timers will remember our days at La Madeleine in Old Town Alexandria, where TEM got it's start. For November, instead of what's become our traditional Coffee and Connections gathering at Busboys and Poets on the Second Tuesday of each month, we're returning to our roo...ts – at least in spirit (different location)!

Join us at a favorite independent coffee shop for some good conversation and open discussion on whatever topics float to the top! No formal program, speaker or presentation, but still many great reasons to attend:

* Connect with other business-owner moms in a casual setting over good food and drinks
* Share a challenge or struggle you're facing and get input from a group of peers with a wealth of experience, skills and talents at the ready
* Share a success and let us celebrate, learn from, and be inspired by you
* Gain insights, tips, tools, resources on all manner of things related to motherhood, home life, business and everything that fuses them

Newcomers, this is a great opportunity to come and learn what we're all about! It's at in-person gatherings such as this, where personal (and business) connections happen and ongoing relationships of all kinds are grown.

No Registration Fee, But Donations Requested
In keeping with our commitment of contributing to the greater good, in lieu of a registration fee, please bring a donation to support the Carpenter's Shelter, who's mission is to end homelessness through services, education and advocacy.

Join us for a morning of cooking and fun as Enterprising Moms unite to contribute to the greater good. TEM members are invited to a Casserole Cook-Off to benefit SOME (So That Others Might Eat), with special thanks to St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, for hosting us.

We've made it easy ... Nothing to buy. Nothing to bring.... But, we are requesting donations in advance of the event to purchase supplies.

If you are unable to make a donation, you are still welcome to come out and help. If you are unable to participate in the event, we encourage you to make a donation to support the effort.

We'll assemble casserole dishes that will later be distributed those in need through SOME.

The Enterprising Moms Huge thanks our participants and panelists for a rich and informative event yesterday on outsourcing (and the array of special offers)! Lots of great advice from panelists and insights from attendees on determining what to outsource, ensuring a good fit, managing the relationship, getting clear on your desired outcomes and determining your return on investment (not always a dollar figure!). Happy outsourcing!
