The Primary section of the school needs text books for the children to follow the National Ciriculem. Some have been bought by parents and sponsors but unfortunately most of the local people just can't afford the books, especially now after all the problems after the elections.

Greetings here is a video I put together for my friend Sue Hayward and the Happy House (orphanage) Appeal for the children of Watamu. Can you help make the children smile? Please pass on this link

Also good news Sue has made the last 8 in the Mail on Sunday Clarins Most Dynamisante Woman of the Year of 2008. We wish her luck results in May!

We desperately need to build an orphanage (our Happy House Project) to accommodate the large number of children who have been left alone; this is often a result of their parents being Aids victims. Some are taken in by relatives and in other instances older brothers and sisters try to keep the family together, either by begging on the beach from tourists or doing any small job.

Every £1 goes towards helping these kids and keeping them safe. No costs are taken from the funds raised for any administration costs, every single penny goes to where it is intended.
