A Repeat Performance - Health Division Holds a Second H1N1 Vaccine Clinic at the Palace
Oakland County, MI, November 12, 2009 ― Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) will offer a 2009 H1N1 flu vaccine clinic for Oakland County residents on Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In cooperation with The P...alace of Auburn Hills, the Health Division will offer the 2009 H1N1 vaccine this Thursday at the following location:

Gates to The Palace will open at 1:00 pm and doors will open at 2:00 pm.
The initial supply of H1N1 vaccine is limited. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have provided strict guidelines identifying the target population as those who are at greatest risk for severe disease. The target population is strictly identified as:
·Pregnant women
·Children and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age
·Caregivers for children under 6 months of age
·Adults 25 through 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions
·Healthcare and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers

Executive Office, Oakland County, Michigan The Health Division vaccinated more than 10,600 individuals against the H1N1 virus at the Palace of Auburn Hills mass clinic on Thursday, November 5, 2009. That amounts to a Health Division nurse inoculating a person every three seconds. So far, the Health Division has served about 30,000 people total. Oakland County has distributed more than 75,000 doses so far to hospitals and private physicians.
