Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics is an independent, resident-based research institute devoted to foundational issues in theoretical physics at the highest levels of international excellence. We strive to create a lively and dynamic research atmosphere where many approaches to fundamental questions, both orth...odox and unorthodox, are pursued simultaneously and where a balance between formal and phenomenologically-oriented research is established. We are determined to collaborate constructively with the surrounding academic community, in particular by creating outstanding educational and research opportunities for graduate students. We are equally determined to create a world-class outreach program which conveys the wonder and mystery of the universe and the importance of future scientific breakthroughs to the general public in Canada and beyond. I'm glad to know about the world-class outreach program and what you will surely accomplish. Keep promoting theoretical physics, and science in general. Thanks.

PI's general public lectures are typically available about 2 months after the lecture on PI's website at http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/en/Outreach/Public_Lectures/View_Past_Public_Lectures/ - however, sometimes, the lecturer (because of copyright issues) won't give permission for them to be taped.

Spanos KIrk The quest that started in anscient times still goes on...will it ever be answered? maybe when philosophy and science converge into one and break the binary code of duality.

Mohannad Thank you PI staff for an amazing festival... I, among many others, have greatly enjoyed the few lectures I managed to attend, and there is still more to enjoy in the videos archives of events I missed... Great work (as usual) and I am looking forward to next year's festival!

Our understanding of the physical world at the most fundamental level is based on two theories: quantum theory and general relativity. They are impressively successful when each is considered on its own, but in situations where both play a role, we are reduced to puzzles and absurdity. ...

Pat I watched 2 talks today State of the Universe and Life the Universe and Nothing by Lawrence Krauss...they were just great and at a level even I could understand. Thank-you so much for making all these videos available
