I just got my admission offer for Graduate studies at the ECE dept on Quest.
I would like to know what would be the next step for paying my semester fees? When will it show up on my Quest account?
And when will I get an official offer of acceptance through mail? Is there anyway to speed up this process?
[I know there is just too much to ask]

congratulations...all of your questions should be answered in the admission package you will be receiving shortly or in the e-mails you have received. Our office doesn't process Graduate admissions so I am not sure of what the timelines are

Hi chris...you should talk to your advisor as you may have to get a course override to get into the class or go onto a waiting list

There is no rule against it (provided you have the prerequisites) but you should talk to your program advisor to make sure you are progressing at the proper rate

Unfortunately, we don't expidite orders as that would not be fair to the others who have ordered and probably want it ASAP as well. We garuantee production of the transcript 5 business days after the receipt of the form

I have applied to the MEng program in the ECE dept. for Jan 2010 intake. (This was in Jun 2009)
Now i've called the concerned dept. several times since september since that was the timeline given to me initially. It's november now and still no decision has been made. The concerned dept. still says we'll be expecting ...soon.

I understand the volume of work the staff has to go through but this has taken insanely long. I'm an international student and I will have to apply for visa IF i get an admission (which takes atleast 2 months). Does the long period means I have been refused an admission or should I wait longer? However there is no such indication on my Quest account. Please help and advise.

Thanx, I got an email from the ECE department and the've recommended my file to the Graduate Studies office for Admission. Does this mean I've been granted an admission or should I wait more for further confirmation?
And could you please give me an idea how long this whole process will take?

Phil Grove Subject: switching tutorials in a class. I got an override into a full tutorial, and now I need to switch it into another tutorial which is also full, do I need to go back to the prof and get another override or can I just go to the Reg. Office and get it done? thanks

I also want to have some information on the procedure of transfer credits.
