WCT provides a variety of on-site classes, workshops, and shows , as well as vacation programs during February, April, and summer months. It offers some co-productions (A Christmas Carol) with New Rep and ArsenalArts, and co-sponsored programs (April and summer) with ArsenalArts. Mission:
• To be a cultural and educational resource for the community by providing opportunities for all children to appreciate and participate in the performing arts.

• To provide a range of theatre experiences for children of diverse cultures and different ages.

• To foster self-discovery, creativity, confidence, group responsibility, and pride in accomplishment,
as well as the development of skills in an enjoyable noncompetitive atmosphere.

Sign up now for our February Vacation Program, Where the Sidewalk Ends, February 16-19. Students in grades 1-5 can spend their vacation week exploring the beloved poems of Shel Silverstein through theater games, songs, scenes, costumes and more.

There is also special dance workshop this winter with returning WCT instructor and New York actress, Avital Asuleen. Dedicated dancers can spend February 6 and 7 learning choreography from the musical "Pippin" and asking about the New York musical theatre scene.
