Maranatha Bible Baptist Church Considered to be one of the most famous sermons in American history, "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" was first delivered in Enfield, Connecticut on July 8, 1741. Timely yet timeless, Edwards shows us our true nature, that nature which we see so very clearly even today.

Amen, awesome post, Thank you Lord for your son Jesus Christ, who is the light of the world. When I turned to Him, he flooded the darkness of my soul with the light of your love. Thank you Lord for your only Son Jesus Christ. He not only died for my sins, he is alive today by my side, hearing my prayers, and preparing for me a glorious home in Heaven!!

Sadly that is exactly what many in the Emerging Church are saying. They say can live as they please, do as they please, and no one should condemn them for it, because there God of Love is gracious.

I have heard messages preached at Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches, stating that " a person can accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and they can continue to live any way they want, in other words continue in sin, and it will not affect their salvation. This totally contradicts Gods word. I am not trying to hint at a works salvation, however true salvation is a changed life. Matthew 7:20 " Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them".

Sad but true many IFB's do not preach the Biblical Gospel message of repentance. Even the devils believe!
