Downtown Grocery A fan asked about meatless or vegetable proteins. It's a good question because there's a big number of meat substitutes for traditional items: burgers, grounds, patties, nuggets, roasts, brats, slices. Plus tofu (blocks to cube), tempeh (for ground beef), seitan (wheat-gluten in place of beef), and a "grain" Quinoa, see comments below:
