Bela Fonte Jaen Vinho Regional Beiras 03 tasted oxidized served right after an exceptionally-nippy, more-than-lifted, takes-2-glasses-2-get-used-2-the-volatility 07 Bordeaux Sauv Blanc from Dourthe. Next day, doesn't seem oxidized, tho maybe flat and definitely short on the finish. The scourge of the 15% discount poisoning my palate or an illustration of the art of wine-with-wine pairings? Was better than those $15 Dolcetto wines pictured (and noted on Oct 27) because this Refosco was d...elicate, fresh and flowing yet big-bodied with admirable structure. Ideal for the lamb pasta.
