heidi haugen pottery waiting for bisque kiln to cool. the power went out at 1:30 a.m. for 2 hours...not helpful.
heidi haugen pottery must give kudos to the united states postal service....i shipped 4 boxes full of dinnerware from whitefish, montana to houston, texas on Saturday afternoon and they all arrived monday...ummm, wow.
heidi haugen pottery i enjoy the marathon glazing more than marathon throwing days. my hands are tired, my pinky finger is shiny and weird, my butt bones hurt and i'm tired of mugs for now.
heidi haugen pottery cone 10 almost down, just lost my eyebrows and plenty of lashes for the second time...when will i learn? funny....i smelt it before i felt it.

heidi haugen pottery delivered pots today and now waiting for the bisque kiln to cool so i can glaze and fire again tomorrow. i will now be a shop hermit until the holidays.
heidi haugen pottery i apologize for the poor lighting but it gets dark here at 3pm it seems and i won't have time in the morning. i am pleased with the urn. more about firing results later....gotta trim pots.
heidi haugen pottery i hit temperature at 7pm which makes a 9 hour firing with a somewhat light load which is fabu. now we wait.
heidi haugen pottery cone 010 down....i'm reducing hard and early this time.....dirty, dirty atmosphere. hopefully that equals beautiful celadon, shino and copper red. we'll see the results tomorrow p.m. grandma betty's urn is in there as well...fingers crossed.

I'm loving the crock/giant vase making. I do have to pay close attention in order to get the handles on before the rims dry out but they seem to have survived. I hope to put some of these in my etsy shop if anyone is interested. ...
