Christine We had to give our two loving cats, Tinkerbell & Tigerlily, in October last year when we were evicted and had to move into a house in Naples where we aren't allowed to have cats. I did stop by to see them 1 wk later, but I think it caused them some upset. I really wish we could have brought them here, and we miss them ...a lot, especially our 3yr old son Ben. He talks about them often. We woiuld like to know if they got adopted yet by a loving family.

Aubrey Strause Doody Annie/Sarah/cat staff: I am a GO for fostering Pumpkin Pie after he has his shave/dip. We have a spot ready for him where he will be separate from other cats but comfy (large greyhound crate). I can come get him Tuesday or whenever he's ready.

Carolyn The ARL's website provides a very easy and quick way to donate. I made it a priority to end 2009 with a donation. It would also be a great way to start the new year. Happy New Year!

Kathy Noble Seybolt There are 1,143 fans on this page. If everyone gave just one dollar think of all the insulin that could buy for Ubu.

Please say a prayer and send warm, strong energy to the 8 baby bunnies
(domestic) who were dropped off at the ARL today. Born on Christmas eve but
orphaned when their mother died this morning. They are going to need all the help they can get!

Genella This is Huckabee (our dachshund) at Christmas and his 2nd birthday. We adopted him back in April. He is a very sweet boy and we love him to peices. There is no dull moments in our lives. I wish all the animals at the ARL was as lucky as Huck.

Megan Hi folks - my partner and I adopted boris in late july last year - he was in the second kennel. Matt crouched down, and said quietly to boris: "you're sad huh buddy." He looked up to me and said "there are no other dogs here. this is the one." He didn't even want to see the rest of the dogs. From the first day, boris h...iked and swam and settled in with his people - he is perfectly happy. Matt often wanted to come back in and tell you all what a fantastic dog we have, how thankful we are for him, and what a perfect family we are. I am doing that now for us: boris, matt, and I were at our usual river this july when Matt drowned. I am so incredibly thankful that boris is here with me. Without him, I would not likely be here. Thank you everybody for the great work you do, and the family I have here with me now.

Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland Quinton relaxing in his new foster home (hopefully his forever home). Thanks to all who made it possible.

Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland Help spread the word...Ubu needs a home! He's a sweet, 7 year old Foxhound who is diabetic and receives insulin twice a day. Please ask everyone you know, as the shelter is unable to continue purchasing his insulin.

Penny Marilyn had a tough start to life. Brought to the shelter by some kids who found her in a sealed backpack. In a dumpster. Surrounded by her dead kittens. But the shelter took really good care of her and FINALLY we got to bring her home yesterday. She's a little shy but sooo sweet-just can't get enough luvs and pets! Her name is now Miracolo.
