Otterbein College’s Graduate Programs and Continuing Studies are holding Program Previews for those interested in learning more about how earning a degree as an adult student can transform their lives.

In addition to providing information on numerous degree programs for ...adult students, the Program Previews will feature panels of Otterbein faculty, students and alumni. At the end of the evening, there will be a raffle awarding five coupons worth $100 that may be used for any Otterbein educational program.

The ,b>Continuing Studies Program</b> offers over 50 majors for working adults, with 13 majors available through evening classes. Evening majors include Business Administration, Organizational Communication and, through the innovative PACE program, Liberal Studies degrees including Leadership & Psychology and Organizational Communication. These majors enhance the capabilities of managers in the workplace and prepares others to step up to managerial positions.

Offering flexible day, evening and weekend classes, the Continuing Studies Program allows students to earn a bachelor’s degree while keeping up with work and family commitments and offers many advantages, including small classes, extended office hours, a variety of payment plans, part-time tuition and personalized attention. In response to the results of an intensive study of student and business needs, academic quality, and structures of MBA programs across the country, Otterbein’s MBA Program has streamlined its curriculum to offer more choices and less time in the classroom for students wanting to earn a quality business education by focusing on selected core areas, including Actuarial Science, Non-Profit Leadership, Information Technology Leadership, Tax Practice and Fraud Examination & Forensic Accounting.

Otterbein College’s <b>Graduate Nursing</b> faculty members are reaching out to a college near you with interactive nursing courses. Using an interactive compressed video system, Otterbein’s on-campus nursing faculty can teach graduate courses in your community simultaneously.

With its convenient hybrid program, Otterbein’s Graduate Nursing program is offered online and on-campus one evening a week, allowing students to work while earning their degree. The Graduate Nursing program provides a high quality education in a caring environment to students across the state.

Otterbein’s <b>MSN degree</b> offers majors in Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Leader and Nursing Service Administration. Post Master certificate options include Adult Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.

MSN students may also choose a concentration in Advanced Practice Nurse Educator concentration; this concentration may also be taken as a Post Master certificate.

The unique <b>Clinical Nurse Leader</b> program is one of the first in central Ohio. Students can earn a CNL/MSN degree in only 15 months, in this high quality but compressed master’s program designed especially for the experienced nurse.

Working nurses can combine clinical learning with their current position to create a clinical immersion experience. Students in the Clinical Nurse Leader major will develop skills such as transformational leadership, change management, conflict resolution and integration of evidence-based practice.

The <b>Master of Arts in Education </b> (MAE) serves state certified teachers who desire to improve their knowledge and skills.

Two major areas of study are offered: Curriculum & Instruction and Reading. Otterbein also offers several Professional Development/Non-Degree options. These options allow students to renew a current or expired license, to add licensure, to pursue Masters Plus credits, or to add either a Reading or TESOL Endorsement.

For those new to education, the <b>Master of Arts in Teaching</b> (MAT) degree program is designed to provide an alternative route to initial teacher licensure for individuals with baccalaureate degrees in non-education areas.

Licensure through the MAT is for the Middle Childhood strand only. An alternative to the MAT program is the post-baccalaureate program which enables those with a non-teaching bachelor’s degree to seek initial teacher licensure in grades K-12.Devamı
