year, Otterbein College and Capital University are taking their rivalry
off the field by participating to see who can bring in the most blood
donations during their inaugural Otterbein vs. Capital Blood Battle.
Donate to the cause from 1- 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, in the Campu...s
Center. Otterbein alumnus Cabot Rea of NBC4 will be on hand from 1-2:30
p.m. to greet people and roll up his own sleeve to give blood.
Partnering with the Central Ohio Blood Services Region of the
American Red Cross, this event encourages alumni and students to donate
blood in the spirit of the long standing rivalry between the two
schools. The winning school will be presented with a trophy during the
pregame ceremony at the Otterbein vs. Capital football game on
Saturday, Oct. 24 at Otterbein.
Appointments for both blood drives are encouraged and can be made by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (1-800- 448-3543) or by visiting BloodSavesLives.org.Read More
