New Year, New Resolutions, New Commitments!!Let’s Have a Spiritual Boot Camp!!! As we begin 2010, everyone is focused on recommitting what they can do for their physical body by committing to eating right, exercising, and everything else that the promise of a new year brings. Billions of dollars are spent on new health... club memberships, new diet pills and weight loss surgeries. This year, it is more important to get your Spirit back into shape. Let’s start off this year with a Spiritual Boot Camp! The Spiritual Boot Camp will consist of determining what are your Spiritual Gifts, the study of Functional Relationships, and setting goals to get in line with the Will of God for your life, as well as getting you more involved with your church ministry to help meet their goals. This Boot Camp will help empower the women of your church, so that they can step forward with full confidence in their abilities to better serve their church and their community. We will work on healing, restoration, and rebuilding hope in God’s promises for our lives. We need the Lord Jesus like sheep need a shepherd. In fact, our
discipleship walk with Christ is portrayed in Scripture as sheep
following a shepherd. Those who are in the world are like sheep without
a shepherd. What a needy picture that is. "But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because ...they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd" (Matthew 9:36). Jesus, our shepherd, is the ultimate shepherd. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep" (John 10:11). Having died for us, our shepherd wants to lead us throughout our lives. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me" (John 10:27). In humble dependence, we can hear His voice through His word and be led by His Spirit. Thereby, we enter into the fullness of the grace that God has for us during our pilgrimage here on this earth.

The Lord is ever with the child of His right hand. Mercy, protection,
grace, and love are ever the believer's company. By the precious blood
of Christ, we are made partakers of the heavenly promise. Hide yourself
in Christ, O believer, and embrace the true rest He so lovingly grants

Living daily by God's grace depends upon getting to know Him and then
walking in the humility and faith that result from fellowship with Him.
We have reflected upon four ways to relate rightly to the Lord in
humility and faith: living by the Spirit, living by resurrection power, living by the sufficiency of God, and livin...g by the promises of God. Another example is following Jesus as a disciple. God bless!

God's throne. Take great delight in the knowledge that He is ruling

Christ gave His love when it was not deserved to people who did not
deserve it. That's the principle to practice! Love is the one
ingredient of which our world never tires and of which there is never
an over abundance. The world will never out...grow its need for love. God
created us in His own image, which means we were created to function on
the fuel of love. The world cries out for genuine love, love that
heals, love that unites, love that forgives, love that encourages. God bless!
