Deleitase con mole, arroz y frijoles./ In celebration of the Mexican Independence the library is proud to have Ballet Folklorico performing dances from different regions of Mexico. Delight yourself with Mole, rice and beans.

In conjuction with the Sejong Cultural Society the library will be presenting pre-college musicians offering an opportunity to showcase the talents of these young performers. Through our bond of music these performers will provide quality events promoting an awareness of Korean culture with a bridge to western cultures.

This workshop is designed for the individual with no previous quilting experience. Participants will make a 6”finished block using the hand piecing technique. While hand piecing will be taught, rotary cutting will be demonstrated and a 6” finished block that was constructed by machine piecing will be displayed. Sharlene M. Snellman, who has taught at quilt shops and private lessons, teaches this class. There is a $5 kit fee at time of registration. Registration is required and limited to 15.
