One Straw Farm Happy Thanksgiving! We are gratefully eating what the season provided for us, a lot of brassicas- cauliflower, broccoli side shoots, kohlrabi, red cabbage, and saurkraut.
One Straw Farm
This is our last week of CSA and Farmers Markets. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Drew was reading on the couch the other night; a seed catalog and a new hot rod magazine. He was in heaven. His winter project has now begun: his mid-life crisis truck, A 1980 short bed eggplant purple pickup with a hemi and an Eid...lebrock carborator, whatever that means.
He has also choosen some new varieties of seeds he wants to try as well.
Tomorrow Nov.18 @ 6pm we will be at JHSPH-CLF watching Fresh and participating in a panel discussion after the movie. Info is attached
