Joella Davis Hatchel I not from Whiteville but my Mother is from Bug Hill. I also love Whiteville. I remember going to town with my Grandmother and shopping in the little stores. It was so much fun. I also love going there to see Newsong with there Christmas Tour.

Sheila Suggs- Little Whiteville, or as locals call it "Wide-vull".....it's home regardless of how you pronounce it. After being gone from Columbus County for 35 years, it was time to come back home. Many people have welcomed us as we start our new business: "Grapefull Sister's Vineyard" I'm lovin' it.
Joey Jennings I just wanted to say how sad I was to hear of Mrs. Ruth Whitley's passing, the former Mayor of Whiteville, Horace Whitley's wife. She was also a close friend of my family. What is ironic is that she was on my mind a lot and I reached out to contact her a few weeks prior to her death on March 18, 2009, but not sure she read my email! She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many. My condolence's to her family and friends.

Raymond I miss Whiteville Somebody send me a cheeseburger and hotdog (all the way) from Ward's Grill. I also take Mc Lamb's and some boiled peanuts too please! Oh and some of that good sweeeeet tea.
