David Burns I'm from CT and will be staying in Narragansett next week. I was wondering about the local put-ins and take-outs for some paddling trips. The Narrow River and the bay are probably the most convenient trips but any other suggestions would be welcome.

Hey there! There are some great spots--check out the RI Blueways site--they have a great section with launches: http://www.exploreri.org/. RICKA (RI Canoe & Kayak Association) is another great resource: http://www.ricka.org/. You can also check out our site: www.kayakcentre.com (there's a Resource tab with Surf Reports & more!)

Staff favorites ... See Moreinclude Ninigret Pond in Charlestown and the Great Swamp in Kingston! If you're into surfing, Matunuck or Narragansett are pretty sweet and you can paddle Narrow River to Gansett.

Stop in the shop and say h when you're in town! See you on the water...
